GIBBS famous boiled sweets are produced fresh, daily at a factory located on the banks of the river Clyde in Greenock by highly skilled craftsmen. Lines such as Black Striped Balls, Candy Balls, Mint Humbugs, Sherbet Straws and Rhubarb Rock are a few of the specialities still rolled off the production lines.

As well as over 40 varieties in weigh out Jars, the company have Pre-Packs and new Gibbs Mini's - tiny boiled sweets with chewy centres.

GIBBS, along with its associate companies, Buchanans of Scotland and Golden Casket (Greenock) Ltd are family owned and boast 24 full time sales staff and 7 agents selling throughout the UK and Ireland.

Hawick Balls are now also made at the Greenock factory. The recipe has been a closely guarded secret for years, some 100 years old. It is till a secret today.
